I’m here to guide you from a place of stagnant overwhelm to a place of naturally and easily implementing healthy habits. 

My Journey

Being a foodie at heart with an active mind and temperamental gut has brought me on culinary, yogic, and health coaching journeys. I was first introduced to the concept of healing foods after a Crohn’s disease flare-up back in 2012. I had to learn how to  heal my own gut through foods and habits  that complemented my system to rebuild a healthy gut foundation. It was such a foreign concept at the time, but when it actually worked (I haven’t had a flare up in 8 years) I knew I wanted to share this knowledge with others.

The culmination of these experiences has solidified my passion for health, food, wellness, fitness, and cooking. More importantly, it brings me so much joy to share this love of wellness with others and to help them on their journeys, wherever they are going!

After graduating from college with a degree in economics and working in sales, I yearned for more education on my truest passion: cooking. Wanting to learn from the best, I packed my bags for Southern Italy to attend the Italian Culinary Institute where I earned my Masters of Italian Cuisine. The techniques, skills, and people I met were invaluable but I was constantly looking for ways to create dishes that were both wholesome and complementary to my body and how I wanted to feel. I didn't want to feel constricted by a diet and wanted to learn how to integrate more food freedom while still feeling empowered. I became a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist at The Academy of Healing Nutrition in London while simultaneously studying at the Nutritious Life Studio. Slowly but surely all my passions began feeding off each other (no pun intended) as I was able to create mouth-watering meals in the kitchen that worked for my body while helping others discover what worked for their own bodies and lifestyles

 

When I’m not in the kitchen you can find me outside running, walking, or on my yoga mat. Exercise is such an important staple to balancing my body, not only physically but emotionally and spiritually. I became a Registered Yoga Teacher in Malta, Italy in 2019 in hopes of sharing this powerful outlet and daily therapy with others!
